Upcoming Reality Show Choto Ustad 2 will go on air on Star Plus July 24 .Choto Ustad second season will be judged by Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam and classical Sufi legend, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

The singer also made his debut on Indian television as a judge with Imagine TV's music reality show Lux Junoon Kuchh Kar Dikhaane Ka.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was Bron In 1974 in Faysalabad(Pakistan)into a Family of traditional musicians .His Father name was Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan ,He was a Qawali Singer too .Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was Trained By Uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan

Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan started his Music Journey publicly when he was ten or eleven in U.K with his Uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in 1985.Rahat Officially joined his
uncle celebrated group when he was 15.In 1997 when Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan died , nephew Rahat Fateh Ali Khan assumed the qawwali

helm and Rahat took Nusrats first name in a traditional gesture of

admiration of his master .

In 27 July 1985 first time he Performed live a Solo Song Mukh Tera Sohneya Sharab Nalon Changa Ae .
He has become More Popular when he debuted as a Bollywood playback singer.His First Bollywood Playback was Maan Ki Lagan in Paap (2004)Movie.After Debut in Bollywood he Sang lots of Popular songs like Jiya Dhadak Dhadak Jaaye,Bol Na Halke Halke,Jag Soona Soona Lage,Teri Ore,Ajj Din Chadheya,Surili Akhiyon Wale,Sajda etc

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Works also with International area He was working in collaboration with Eddie Vedder, of the American rock band, Pearl Jam, Rahat contributed to the soundtrack of the 1995Hollywood film Dead Man Walking.

In 2002, he worked on the soundtrack of Four Feathers in collaboration with the Americancomposer of orchestral and film music, James Horner. Also in 2002, Rahat guested with The Derek Trucks Band on the song "Maki Madni" for Trucks' album, Joyful Noise.

More recently, his vocals were featured on the soundtrack of Mel Gibson's Apocalypto.

"qawwali music is not only music, it is a message. It was created by Sufis, and when we compose and practice this music, it stays forever. Other music comes and goes, but qawwali never goes. Once you start listening, it goes in your soul, goes in your spirit, and you become more human. I feel that this music is my duty, to go and give the message of Sufism.
